We are the English Service community of Holy Trinity Cathedral—a multicultural, family-friendly Anglican church in Kibagabaga.
The Cathedral also hosts a Kinyarwanda service beginning at 10:30 AM. The two congregations share the Cathedral while serving their communities in distinct ways.

What to wear
Wear what is comfortable. Many people dress smart-casual, but there is no dress code.

Children & families
Children belong in our community.
Sunday school welcomes children ages 5–13. Nursery space is available for parents to accompany younger children.
Ask a member of the welcome team when you arrive. We want families to feel supported and at ease throughout worship.

Holy Communion, every Sunday.
We sing, pray, confess, hear Scripture, receive teaching, share the peace, and come to the Lord’s Table. Visitors who receive Communion in their home church are welcome to receive; others may come forward for a blessing.
Shared leadership
The Cathedral clergy oversee the English Service, supported by a volunteer leadership team. Preachers, musicians, and Scripture readers rotate, so each Sunday feels distinct while remaining anchored in the Anglican liturgy.
Small groups
Sunday worship is an entry point; deeper life together often grows in small groups meeting in homes across Kigali. Talk with a pastor or leader after the service, or send us a note.

Good to know
Questions before your first visit?
01Do I need to be Anglican?+
No. Our community includes people from many Christian traditions, as well as people who are new to church. If you are exploring Anglican worship, you are very welcome.
02What if I don’t know the liturgy?+
That’s completely okay. The service guides you through what is happening, and you are free to participate at whatever level feels comfortable—joining the prayers and responses, or simply listening and observing.
03What about my children?+
Children are very welcome. Sunday school is available for ages 5–13, and nursery space is available for parents to accompany younger children. Ask a welcome team member when you arrive and we will help you find the right place.
04How long is the service?+
The English Service typically lasts about 90 minutes, from 8:45 to 10:15 AM.
05Can I come if I’m exploring faith?+
Absolutely. You are welcome whether you are firmly rooted in faith, returning after time away, or simply curious about Christianity. Come with your questions and take your next step at your own pace.
